Marlin Williams

Marlin Williams

A genuine ability to positively influence people and change the course of negative communication influences how Marlin Williams structures his daily life. “There is too much negativity in the world,” says Williams. “Building up one another’s self-esteem promotes healthy workplaces and environments, and increases productivity—not only in business, but also in families.”

Whether he is with a group of students, athletes, or in the business world. encouraging kindness and happiness never stray from his thoughts and words. Williams uses a background in communications, customer service training and certification, and internationally-known communication classes to help others lead a happier, more productive life. His entertaining ability to teach to all learning styles allows for understanding in large arenas or intimate settings. Popular training options include, but are not limited to: customer service, employee relations, corporate communications, public relations, encouragement, conflict resolution, character, interpersonal communication, leadership, team motivation, optimism, perspectives, non-verbal communication, and team building.

Williams graduated from Harding University in 1993 with a B.A. in Mass Communications. He received a scholarship to perform live as a news anchor and sports director/sports anchor for the Harding nightly news. That experience proved valuable upon graduation, for he remained successfully in the news industry for almost two decades.

Williams began his broadcast career in Jackson, Tennessee, where his work was featured on ESPN. In 1996, he moved to Augusta, Georgia, covering the Olympic Games, Masters golf tournaments, Super Bowls, and World Series. He received an Emmy nomination for producing, writing, and co-hosting First Down on Fox.

In 2009, Williams left broadcast news for the corporate world, working as a Communications Manager and then Chief Operating Officer for an electric power cooperative, where his communication expertise allowed him to work alongside local, state, and national elected officials regarding economic development and government relations. Currently he serves as the Manager of Member Services for North East Mississippi Electric Power Association and owns MLT Communication, LLC—a corporate training/coaching company. Jerry Moore

Jerry Moore

Sometimes the smallest step in a positive direction develops into the greatest and most productive step in our lives. Negativity, sadly, abounds in our society, and typically that negativity stems from poor communication. “It’s imperative that we re-learn how to communicate in a positive and optimistic way. Otherwise, we’re going to spiral into a place with unmet goals and unhappy people,” states Moore.

When speaking to employees, business and church leaders, social organizations, or students, Moore provides insight into how to reestablish fading interpersonal skills. He relies on his background of working with and leading teachers, students, coaches, and employee bases to foster positive lines of communication. His belief that it is better to be “positively annoying versus negatively destructive” shows in his comedic and straight-forward delivery.

Moore graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1990 with a B.S. in Education and a minor in Social Sciences. He obtained his M.E. in 1995 from the University of Mississippi in Leadership and Administration. Moore has served in various educational leadership roles throughout his career, which has assisted him in being able to develop cohesiveness among groups of individuals to accomplish set priorities. Currently, Moore works for the University of Mississippi as a Lead Implementation Specialist and partners with the Mississippi Department of Education to coach and train school leaders.

He and his wife, Wendy, reside in Holly Springs, Mississippi, with their three sons, Miles, Morgan, and Mason.
